Attempted AP at 9:00am using astral phasing technique. I was already relaxed and did not bother with focusing on my breathing.
I closed my eyes still very awake I was able to hear songs playing in my head. I listened carefully trying to capture the words. It was in Hindi - I think I heard both male and female voices. Another song played and I began singing along in my mind - at the time I felt like I knew the song only now both the lyrics and melody have escaped me.
My head began vibrating as the song continued to play. I followed the vibration in an attempt to stay conscious. An image formed in the middle of my field of vision. It was of a bright lamp on a table with other equipments around it. The image of a cracked window of what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse took form and I felt like I was moving. This place had a sense of darkness so I immediately affirmed that 'I am a vibration of love'. I then requested to be taken to a place of higher vibration to some invisible forces.
There was a fuzzy static noise followed by a change of scene. I found myself in an apartment that looked incredibly new and neat. Couldn't move yet although I was now immersed in this new environment. Heard a few voices whispering - seemed to be coming from somewhere inside the apartment. When the voices became more audible I realised it was in a foreign language, possibly French. The scene dimmed out, everything became dark and then I sensed my body. I was squeezing my eyelids tightly closed so that I could re-enter. I opened them, checked the time at 9:10am, did not really feel like attempting again.

Meditation Progress: Smiling and Wave Sensations
Yesterday evening I meditated twice, the second time was unintentional. Started at 5:45pm. I didn't bother with a deep breathing exercise this time nor did I focus on my breathing, instead just allowed my body to relax by itself and left my mind to its busyness.
Almost instantly I began getting visions of random images, my recall of this is vague right now as I didn't bother focusing on it much. What really got my attention focused was the sensations in and around my body. I'm not sure how to describe it but it felt like a gentle wave wash all over my body, then I felt a loosening which I thought was probably the astral body. I also started smiling involuntarily - not that I was complaining. There was a deep sense of peace associated with the smile. I felt really light, perhaps because I was feeling really good. Overall the first session went very well. I opened my eyes at 6:00pm and felt like napping.
While taking the nap, once again I felt the wave sensations and smiling involuntarily. I woke up at 6:10pm - I was surprised because I felt like I had woken up from hours of refreshing sleep.

Built In Hypnotist
At 10:35 this morning I made an attempt to AP using the breathing technique. Did not ask for any assistance this time. I couldn't seem to focus clearly as my mind was rampant with thoughts. Tried the third eye chakra meditation which I haven't practiced in a long time. It was a lot easier to focus on the sensations which were intensifying between my brows. Eventually found myself in a mind awake/ body asleep state where I began hearing a male voice saying 'you have to wait for the 1.13' or something along those lines. Of course I had no idea what that meant or that it was even directed at me. I could be picking up on thoughts.
Eventually my ears began vibrating - I should be used to this by now but it is very uncomfortable although not painful. Heard another male voice, he began with telling me to relax, almost whispering the words. Perhaps this was a diversion from focusing on the ear vibes and if so it helped. His voice oscillated between my right and left ear much like in some of the Paul McKenna Hypnosis Programmes. I actually became quite comfortable with the vibes but maybe because it was slowing down. Unfortunately, I was faced with a new problem, there was a tickling sensation on my right cheek and felt as though something was crawling, I forced myself out of the SP state at 11:00am.
My first listening of hypnosis was in July of this year and I've been listening to some more programmes off and on in the past two months. I've had two experiences so far where I can clearly hear a hypnotic voice, the other instance occured in Guided to Outer Space.
I wonder now, if I'm drawing out these voices from my subconscious or there are actually non-physical entities who are probably using those methods I am accustomed to. Of course I believe in Spirit Guides and Higher-Selves but that all is really a matter of faith, not an absolute known. Either way I think asking for assistance is somehow helping.

Ink Blobbing
Woke up at 5:25am, back to bed at 7:00am attempting AP by focusing on breathing. Again, I asked for help from guides and higher self.
Felt subtle vibrations and instantly floated out, I gained partial control of movement finding my way to the window. I could not go through instead began to spin out of control. Moving without control, I did not get a chance to see my body in bed. I was moved to a corner of my room - sprawled across the floor was a floral dress and I can't recall if I had left it there as I have a huge mess piled up in that area but it exists in reality. I wondered if I was in the Real Time Zone (RTZ). Again began moving on auto with clear vision which suddenly became clouded with what appeared as blobs of ink bubbling and multiplying. I focused and it seemed wherever I looked the bubbles of ink would continue to form.
Had a FA, where I checked if the dress was where I'd seen it in the projection. Instead there was a different dress that does not exist in reality but for some reason in the FA it seemed like I accepted that dress as the one in reality when in fact I've never seen it before. I went on having a lucid dream where I was completely aware however I noticed an intense feeling of excitement followed by a sense of fear for some unknown reasons.
Woke up at 7:45am, in reality the dress from projection was in the exact location. I never really bother with experiments to validate my experiences mostly because I'm not exactly skilled enough at projecting to do so. I'm also not all that concerned with validating my experiences but just in case I will set up a card experiment.

On The Radio
Woke up at 4:20am. At 6:30am I attempted to AP by focusing on my breathing - it was difficult and the process took about 40 minutes, mostly because my mind was occupied with plans for the rest of the day. Prior to the attempt, I asked for my spirit guide(s) or higher self to assist me.
Finally letting go of all tension I felt mild vibrations in my head, suddenly heard what sounded like the static sound when tuning into a radio station and lost all sensations of my body. The static noise would stop at a station, play a song for a while and then tune into another station where another song would be played. In between I was able to hear radio DJs' and what sounded like news reporters. I focused on the song lyrics, songs I've never heard before but sounded familiar and absolutely amazing. There was one particular song I was focused on and trying my best to memorise it, it was really odd because I was actually singing along as if I knew the words.
The words were not in English, nor any other language I'm familiar with unless Gibberish counts as a language. I realised the words were not all that important and tried my best to memorise the melody instead. Unfortunately, I can't remember it. I think a lot of creativity and inspiritation occurs in this hightened state of awareness - if only my memory served me well.
Body sensations returned with the sense of being back in bed, in a groggy state moved the covers which were blocking my view. After looking around I realised I was not in my bedroom. A few seconds later as I awakened, I felt intense pulsating sensations in the solar plexus. It was 7:50am and I was still feeling rather groggy and felt like I needed days of sleep, a few minutes later normal alert waking state returned.

Resuming Meditation
I've resumed my meditation practice as of this evening.
Started at 6:00pm by practicing deep breathing for 5 minutes, then in a relaxed state I followed my breathing sensations. Surprisingly I was able to clear my mind of thoughts almost instantly and entered a calm state of mind. Got deeper and felt the usual IBM's which were not distracting at all. I opened my eyes thinking quite some time had passed - it had been only five minutes so I closed my eyes, entered calm state once again. This time index finger on right hand raised up several times, breathing had become very soft almost nonexistent but present.
Ended session at 6:20pm.
My intention is to continue practicing meditation, hope I don't stray again. I'll report back any further developments.

Long Time In 3D Blackness
Attempted AP at 7am. Turned around to my left side to get comfortable, then my right and continued shifting positions until I shifted on my back and focused lightly on my breathing.
My neck suddenly became heavy followed by my face. As this was occurring I felt a wave passing through my entire body. At this stage it was clear that I was entering SP. I felt wind gushing in/through my ears. My right ear began to vibrate - this vibration was passing between both my ears and the sensation was also felt in my head. I almost resisted when an aeroplane passed by high above in the sky (in the physical) - I felt the noise from the plane was making the vibration even more erratic.
With some courage I continued to raise my awareness by not reacting so much. Images of unusual shapes and blobs of light were in my field of vision - passing from left to right with the ongoing of sensations in my head and ears.
Everything became blank when I perceived my body floating up and rotating, then my window became visible. I began to sink down very fast losing my sight. I found myself in a 3D blackness with a steady level of consciousness. Wasn't sure what to do next but I could feel as though I was moving. I asked for some clarity which didn't work, then I commanded 'lights on' which also failed. At this stage I noticed squiggly lines which were transforming into wave lines revealing some kind of frequency pattern. A blip emerged and growing bigger in size and transforming in shape, it became familiar when I realised the last time I noticed this I thought it was some kind of symbol in Map Directions. It vanished just as quickly as it appeared.
My vision returned with my arms up in the air in front of me. I gained some control over my arms by waving them about. Lost consciousness and woke up at 7:35am.

A Dream of Astral Projection Method Statistics
Last night, on a whim I thought about trying out an Astral Projection method since I was having trouble falling asleep. The only method that I seem to be bothered with is the Astral Phasing Technique.
I was up for over an hour trying to get my body completely relaxed using the deep breathing method. I haven't been practicing deep breathing since stopping meditation so at first it was difficult almost as if I completely forgot how to. Eventually, noticed I was breathing in a nice rhythmic pattern and followed the breath. My attention shifted to a familiar pressure between my brows which intensified with each breath.
It was at this point I intended to practice noticing behind my closed eyelids but it was nice finally getting in that calm state of mind and I actually wanted to just drift off to sleep. I'm not sure what space I was in but when I opened my eyes 5 minutes before midnight I felt like I had slept for a good 8 hours when in actual fact my eyes were closed for twenty minutes. I'm certain that I could've stayed up for the entire night feeling energized had I not forced myself to fall asleep at 2:00am in fear of feeling sleepy in the morning.
I can recall quite a lot of dreams - most of them making no sense with a few that seemed significant.
In one particular dream I was staring at a page of Astral Projection Method Statistics. At the top of the page was the term 'Projection by faith'. There were other methods on the list I can't recall very well but the projection by faith method had the highest score.

Putting off meditation temporarily
I've been putting off meditation in the recent weeks due to busy schedule and have been experiencing a lot of needless stress which I believe may have caused some asthma symptoms to resurface. In the past few days I have been relaxing more and noticed how my asthma symptoms are slowly disappearing.
Although I haven't been meditating at all, I have been listening to some hypnosis on concentration and memory and lucid dreaming.
I think the lucid dreaming hypnosis is helping me recall my dreams in greater detail.

Astral Unbalanced Spinning
At 7:00am, already relaxed I decided to practice AP. I focused on my breathing as I was very distracted with thoughts. Gave up on trying this method since I was already relaxed, just mentally distracted. I closed my eyes and turned over and over until I was comfortable enough. Soon, maybe within 10 minutes or so my head began vibrating - it was definitely internal this time. Vibration was different, felt like the front of my brain vibrating.
There was none of that annoying high pitch sound but I did hear the clock ticking. Sounded like it was coming from inside my head. I had this unusual feeling or sense that my life here (in the physical) is a dream, for a brief moment. I'm not sure how I came to the conclusion but my thought of life being a dream was so powerful, I think it was somehow triggered by the ticking clock.
I quickly began floating. Then I felt myself rotate as usual and expected to head towards the window. Instead I began spinning in an unbalanced manner, all over my room. I could see my furniture arranged differently - there was also a few things that didn't belong to me. I'm not sure if the room itself began morphing or that it was my perception that was morphing. There could be a number of different reasons why I was suddenly spinning in unfamilar rooms. Eventually, I was still spinning now in a traditional styled living room. Finally, I stopped spinning in front of a large window. I peered out at the vast sky before me - it was as if the building itself was floating higher in the sky. At this point, unable to move I asked for my spirit guides to assist me. I then shot out the window like a cannonball. Lost sight and returned back in bed.
I tried again, just closed my eyes and was feeling the same brain vibrations. Began hearing several voices, male and female voices, all speaking at the same time. Focused on the voices individually. My memory of the chopped up fragmented sentences is rather vague right now however I did get the impression that I was listening in on actual conversations, perhaps even hearing thoughts.
My consciousness morphed into a cartoon dream - no recall right now. I did snap out of the dream state back in bed with SP. I noticed a stick on the bed - managed to move my right hand and tried picking it up, somehow I think I moved my physical hands and woke up at 7:35am. Within 5 minutes of waking up my little finger on my right hand began moving in a tapping motion.

Stuck
Recently a commentor suggested that I should try getting away from my body. I realised I rarely ever do this because all my movement usually feel automatic and I've become used to this. Thought I'd give it a try next time.
This morning, at 8:10am I got my opportunity when I knew the conditions were just right. Already relaxed, sort of dozed off, random images began flashing. I participated a little with the images, enhancing some of the colours, some of the faces that popped up - this was way too much fun, fortunately I didn't get too excited. The images eventually disappeared and I began telling myself to relax deeper now. I think maybe talking to myself during the pre-astral states may benefit in keeping me aware and conscious.
I soon felt a vibration which was more external, it seemed to be coming from somewhere above my head. My eyes were still closed and all I percieved was darkness. Then my vision returned, still in bed but it was dark in the room with the window part of my room being lit by the moon - this was a sure sign that I was out. At this stage I remembered to get away from my body. I tried getting up, my body seemed to be glued to the bed. Tried moving my legs and arms but I was still stuck. I eventually gave up and wanted to wake up.
Got into what seemed like the void, only this time I saw several circles zooming in and out giving a ripple effect. A few seconds later woke up at 9:00am, went back to sleep again and had a few FAs. I think the reason that I was unable to move may be that I tried too soon? Ordinarily I end up floating and often head towards the window - again all very automatic.

A Fully Conscious Attempt
This morning I decided to try and consciously AP. I say 'consciously' because this time I was wide awake. I had woken up at 5:30am and had difficulty going back to sleep, mostly because I had a lot on my mind. This seems to be the case now, where I wake up earlier than usual and later on feel sleep deprived.
By 8:00am I decided to give it a shot. I lay back in bed still with a very active mind finding it almost impossible to relax. I repeated the word 'relax' several times which was only making me more tense. Then I repeated the mantra 'OM', this was surprisingly distracting me from my busy mind. The mantra soon evolved to 'OM SHANTI SHANTI'. Soon I felt the onset of that annoying sound in my right ear. It eventually became audible and intolerable as usual. Still chanting mantra, the sound moved to my left ear, now audible in both ears I wasn't sure I could move past this stage.
I remember last time I somehow tuned into it, so I listened carefully with some bravery hoping to make the same connection. I don't know how I did it, but I did. Although I couldn't see anything I percieved that my body was slowly floating upwards and heading for the window. My vision became clear at this point, outside everything had a violet hue shade with the sky having the lightest violet tone. Just as I excitedly thought 'I've done it' my body began to sink, seeming to spiral downwards. Maybe I should have looked up?
Still very focused in a relaxed state I was back in bed with both my ears ringing with that same screeching sound. I was stuck in an 'in between' state where I began hearing some unfamiliar music fading in and out. Eventually the experience warped into several dreams. I opened my eyes at 8:25am.

Inside Someone's Head
This was probably the longest astral experience I have had so far. However, I can now only recollect fragmented parts and I'm going to relay the parts I remember clearly.
Closed my eyes, heard the same screeching ping like sound, this time it was in my left ear. I focused on the sound and managed without effort to adjust to it. I was floating about in an unfamiliar house. My arms were clearly visible in front of me, they had a white blurry glow around them.
Soon I was on a seat, in what looked like a cart moving across tracks that were high above the ground between buildings. There were people sitting next to me singing and clapping their hands. They seemed really jolly, I tried to join in but felt somewhat embarrassed.
I'm walking with a man I don't know in an unfamiliar area, but looked like any ordinary high street. The man is talking, telling me about some of his problems - all I recall now is something about sexual harrassment. It's weird that I'm walking without control. When the man talks I think of what to say - the words come out but something entirely different to what I thought is being said. This went on for a while and I can't remember everything that was said because I was busy thinking about what I'd like to say. Soon I realized that I must be in someone's mind, listening in. The man said he had to quickly meet someone and told me that he'll see me later and with that he got in his car and we parted ways. I was lifted upwards (maybe out of the body I think I was in). I had no idea what to do next and woke up.

Map Directions
Woke up at 6:00am, I felt sleepy and would've fallen asleep instantly had it not been for my full bladder. At 7:30am I could not bring myself to even close my eyes as I was far too alert and awake. I focused on my breathing to see if it helped and also expected to project.
Random images flashed by, I recall one of them being a moving aeroplane - Hypnagogic Imagery. Moving about and opening my eyes validated that I was still very much awake. Closed my eyes, images were gone but behind my closed eyelids things were still moving, these 'things' were dark squiggly shapes. There was also that screeching sound in my right ear but it wasn't having that negative effect as usual. Instead felt like I somehow tuned in this time.
A symbol began to take form. I was guessing it was an archaic symbol, then my focus began to zoom into it. It started looking like some kind of futuristic symbol. I continued playing this guessing game until more symbols began scrambling and my focus zoomed in at incredible speed. I began seeing triangles, squares and other familiar shapes. I noticed scattered branches, realized they were roads. I was now viewing a map. The markings on the map seemed to be moving. Four arrows came into view. I became prey to the 'void' but still very focused. The arrow came into view a second time. The top arrow pointing upwards was flashing, I just gazed at it wondering what it meant. It soon flashed even faster - I knew then that the arrow was telling me to look up. I looked up and flipped backwards. My vision became so clear and sharp. I was in the sky flying above the most magical town I've ever seen. Looked like something out of a fairy tale. There were castle buildings along with a few odd contemporary buildings and lots of people walking by. I flew about this town aimlessly, feeling appreciation for the guidance I was getting. I was feeling a lot of pleasant emotions.
A pink rollercoaster ride came into view - I wondered if I was in some kind of theme park. This place had a playful DisneyLand feel to it. I focused on it and easily floated down towards it. I was now above the seats and recalled all the sensations I've felt on rollercoaster rides in the physical. Sitting down I wondered if it was the same in this magical place - maybe even more exhilirating, the seats were immobile to notice. I realised I hadn't yet communicated with anyone and had intentions to do so when again the arrows in a larger size, now looking more like a compass appeared just a few feet away. The left arrow was flashing and I headed west. I felt I was going up higher. My arms felt like they were flopping. I looked at them and noticed they were as clear as daylight. I was getting so excited, wanted to explore more but then had a thought that if I don't wake up and jot down some quick notes I will forget everything that eventuated, with that I opened my eyes.
This experience has definitely confirmed my belief in spirit guides though I did not see or hear anyone the guidance was definitely there. I hope that from now on I am able to clearly recognize these guidance I am offered.
I tried to project again, somehow felt confident that I could have another experience just as effortlessly and I did. Next post, 'Inside Someone's Head'.

Out with the New, In with the Old
Meditated twice in the evening with the sessions lasting 10 minutes each - I haven't practiced deep breathing for some time now, most likely the reason why the deep breathing today wasn't having that relaxing effect on me. Anyways, I was still able to get relaxed enough by just following the sensations of my breathing. Began hearing spanish words- sounded like a whole lot of gibberish, not very good at Spanish so was unable to make out clear sentences. I clearly remember hearing the word navella or nabella - not sure what it means but I remember trying to figure it out at the time.
I haven't been meditating consistently with the traditional technique of following the breath, however I have been listening to some guided meditations. I'm having different effects with the guided meditations - the relaxing process feels much longer compared to the traditional method of focusing on the breath and at times can be frustrating, maybe this has a lot more to do with me and my inability to follow instructions. With that said I have had two or three refreshing sessions with the guided meditation. I intend on sticking with some of the traditional methods and on occasions using guided meditation.

Hearing Music
This morning I meditated by focusing on my breath for 20 minutes. It was difficult quietening my mind as it was already stimulated with thoughts. I lost focus but towards the end I regained consciousness and my mind was rampant with silent thoughts, they felt like they were completely seperate from me. In the background I heard some sounds, a melody unfolded - sounded like a piano playing. It was very soothing but I allowed it to last for only a few seconds as I felt too much time had passed.

The Window
Woke up at 6:50am and tried falling asleep again at 8:30am. When I couldn't sleep I felt frustrated and tried to just focus on my breathing. Soon I felt the onset of vibrations in my head followed by that annoying buzz, in both my ears this time. After the vibrations I thought I had woken up until I looked at the window across my bed which was not meant to be there. Everything was dark except for the glowing window. I concentrated on this window in order to keep myself conscious.
Suddenly I was walking to the front room but couldn't recall getting up. Tried putting my hands through the wall but it was as solid as the walls in reality. I blacked out.
Again I was looking across the room at the glowing window. There is nothing visible through this window except an intense bright golden light. The window appeared like this several times in between the FAs I had.
Towards the end I am sitting next to another person on the computer - he is uploading something to his brain. There was also a computer in front of me and I got a telepathic signal that it was my turn. I cautiously stared at it - can't remember what was on the screen but I began to have a seizure like experience and ended up having a very vivid dream where kids and teenagers were protesting against a type of voting system.
As I was waking up heard several voices - can't recall what was said but just before I opened my eyes I clearly remember a female voice calling out my name and telling me to wake up.

The Lucid Chase
A lucid dream I had this morning:
I'm in my house, which looks completely different except for the structure. I see a man in the living room speaking to a boy, he looks about 10 years old. He tells the boy to stay put and looks around the house in a very detective like manner. I get the impression that he is protecting the boy. I get a view of a car parked outside. There are four men inside this car, each wearing bluetooth headsets and looking very Federal.
The Detective guy re-enters the living room only to find the boy has vanished. The car outside speeds off. Detective runs after the car and is in the middle of the road obstructing other vehicles. He looks for a car and in front of him sees a commuter that begins to wobble like jelly. Up until this point I was aware of the dream, here I become fully lucid.
I was a bit confused about what to do next so I assumed the role of my DC. I thought of several vehicles - none were to my taste until I thought of a motorcycle which instantly appeared. I hopped on and instead of going after the people who took the boy I was enjoying the flow of high speed motion. What an exhilarating ride!
I flashed out of consciousness from this scene into another scene where boy is in car trying to escape. Somehow he does and my consciousness flashes back to my main DC - the Detective. I knew where to find the boy but I wasn't heading in any particular direction - just straight ahead. The boy was now on the road, covered in mud, and heads in my direction. He gets on the bike and off we go, seeking escape from the car that was not too far behind us.
We ended up in some sort of tunnel, the boy needed to take a pee. After a long few minutes I heard a car coming through the tunnel and told the boy to get moving. I rode off only to be cornered by several vehicles. Surrounded by the DCs I was running away from I began to panic and froze feeling some anxiety. I looked at all my DCs who were running towards me and a thought crossed my mind - 'This is my dream, I decide what happens next.'
Suddenly the entire dream scene looked like it was being sucked in by a vacuum. I lost consciousness, ended up having several FAs. In the first FA I was reminiscing this cool LD I had.
This is the longest spontaneous LD I've had so far, it was so much fun despite the final moments of anxiety. I know it was just a dream but the vividness made everything appear so real.
I believe what helped make the LD last longer was playing along with it rather than trying to manipulate it.

Midnight Exit Attempt
My projections nearly always occur spontaneously early in the morning between 4:00 - 6:00am. Projecting late at night is very rare, in fact I've only once projected in the evening. Last night I had a notable experience.
First of all I was in a really bad mood and felt incredibly overwhelmed which made falling asleep impossible. At exactly 12:00am I had enough of the constant bickering going on in my head and distracted myself by listening to some music. It worked and about 25 minutes later I felt sleepy enough. As I put my mp3 player away I felt incredibly drunk only difference being I was conscious of it. My back and my arms began to feel heavy - I quickly layed back down before I was completely unable to move. I figured it was SP. Tried getting up but felt stuck, then I raised both my legs, they felt so light and were up in the air. I don't recall getting out of my body but soon I found myself very aware in a dream state where I recall meeting someone, the details of this meeting is vague right now. I woke up at 1:00am.

Strip & Drill
I had two very distinct experiences this morning. Before I get into that I'd like to share an experience I had on Friday night. I had listened to the first track 'centered calm' of Hemi-Sync 'Opening the Heart' Series and finished it after 20 minutes as I felt quite sleepy. When I did turn in to sleep I began making a list in my head of all the things to do over the weekend. 6 random thoughts entered my head. I know these thoughts did not belong to me as they were completely unrelated. The last thought creeped me out - it sounded like a witch saying 'I'm going to get you'.
Now back to this morning - I woke up at around 4:30am and found it difficult to go back to sleep. I put on my earphones and listened to some music and Abraham-Hicks stuff. By 6:15am I drifted off to sleep, had a lucid dream and somehow found myself back in bed and heard the resonant tuning long 'ah' sound from the hemi-sync audio knowing that I was in the process of projecting.
Strip
I noticed that the covers were missing (I thought it fell on the floor). I also noticed my left hand was placed on a particularly private body part. My hand moved up to my abdomen and I seemed to have no control. However, slowly I began to regain some control, moved both my arms about. When I moved them it felt as though there was a powerful magnet at my center and this force was pulling my arms towards it. The control of my arms were taken over once again by some invisible force. My left arm slightly slanted upwards aiming the palm of my hand on my abdomen. It was bouncing and moving in circular motions. Then my right arm joined in. It was almost exactly like the Energy Work experience only this time I at least gained partial control. Suddenly I felt high and took back control over my arms, waving them about and really enjoying the magnetic pulling sensation.
My body was spinning anticlockwise - halfway on the other side of my room I saw a double bed that did not belong there. I was sinking towards the floor next to this bed (usually in my experience sinking means I'm about to lose consciousness). I was now in the 'void'. I remained conscious and nothing happened until once again I was back in my bed without the covers. Then the scariest thing happened, my pyjama top was moving. I looked closely and it seemed something or someone invisible was stripping my clothes. Panic set in and immediately I fought back. Woke up at 6:45am, back in bed this time with the covers on and fully clothed.
I realise that I was afraid when this took place because I was able to feel my clothes on my skin - I still had my physical senses plus the fact that I was in my bedroom made the experience feel all too physical. I know my fear is getting in the way of me moving on and further developing some astral control. I had a long and hard think about this. I affirmed that next time I have a scary experience I'm going to put my fear aside and face the unknown. This reflects in the following experience.
Drill
I fell asleep again at 8:00. Had a very vivid dream where I was playing a game with a group of people. Woke up from this dream still feeling tired I immediately conked out again and instantly heard a sound. Nothing was visible but I sensed a presence next to me. The sound grew louder and then I felt some impact on my head. I knew without a doubt that it was some kind of machinery. I guessed it was a drill. I felt it deepening getting through my skull. My head and face was buzzing. This might come as a surprise but there was absolutely no fear present. I got the idea that someone was working on me and I just allowed it, I suspected I didn't really have a choice in the matter. I opened my eyes halfway - my bedroom visible, nobody around and head was still buzzing, I was also able to still hear the drilling sound. Closed my eyes and just let it work until 5 minutes later I thought it was enough and got up at exactly 9:00am.

Becoming More Conscious In Meditation
Yesterday I meditated for 25 minutes in the evening at 6:45. I remember my arms moving slightly and my head felt like it was floating. Random images and flashing neon like signs began appearing. I remember seeing a face - it was really fast so I can't say whether it was male or female. I think it was a female. This occurred in the first few minutes. I then became aware of my soft gentle breathing which indicated my body had fallen asleep.
After that I lost consciousness but as I got snapped out of the meditative state (by external noise) I remember feeling as though much had transpired in those last 25 minutes however I can only recall those initial stages of the session.
Overall the meditation left me feeling incredibly refreshed and energized.

Mind Awake/ Body Asleep Via Meditation
I meditated this evening at exactly 7:00pm. For the first 5 minutes I breathed deeply, then I followed the flow of my natural breathing. Pressure feeling on my left temple. I felt like I blanked out for a long time when suddenly I became aware of a heavy breathing sound. My body had fallen asleep. I felt quite light in this state. I'm not sure if my body was paralysed and did not want to check in case I lost this awareness, but I couldn't really sense my body. I felt though that if I wanted I could've snapped out effortlessly. I continued focusing on the breathing and for the first time I was just so fascinated by the way my breathing operates all by itself.
I continued focusing on the breathing which became soft and then heavy again. I was unable to hear any other external noise. All I could hear was my breathing - I think my other senses had shut down. I was waiting to see what happens next, it was still dark and the noise was still present. It felt like a really long time until I decided to ask to meet my spirit guide. A few more minutes of waiting I ended the session checked the time, I had been in this sleep like state for 3 minutes. It actually felt longer than that, about 20 minutes.

Afterthoughts On The 30 Day Meditation Challenge
I'd like to start off by saying I'm actually not surprised that I've made it through 30 days of meditation, since I was very determined. As I have experienced some of the benefits of meditation earlier this year I guess it was easier to really commit. However, it has been challenging considering the conditions under which the sessions took place: increased noise level, screaming kids - need I say more?
In order to get a clear picture of the progress I've made I'll paint a scene from my early days of practice (from about 2 years ago).
The Early Days
I sit down in the full lotus posture, how I ever managed that is now a vague memory. Within just a few seconds of this I convert to the half lotus and so on until eventually I'm seated on a chair. With my timer handy and set for 25 or 30 minutes I begin by taking a few deep breaths (the incorrect way) and continue focusing on the natural flow of my breathing. Soon I notice an itch that starts off subtle and so I'm able to ignore it. Seconds later I've moved my focus from the breath to meditating on the itch. My urge to scratch this itch multiplies and so I give in to it, finding some sweet relief. Back to focusing on the breath, within a few minutes I'm thinking about a number of random things and in between calculating the number of minutes left before my timer goes berserk. Sitting still was possible, but sitting quietly still in my head was near to impossible. In between these rampant thoughts I hear the ticking clock and find myself in a state of boredom. Eventually getting so deep into my thoughts the timer goes off and I almost jump out of my chair, that timer was about the only seemingly involuntary thing that took place. A few days of this was enough for me to make excuses not to bother with even the thought of meditation.
Present Day Experience
I'm happy to say I am having a completely different experience now, it's almost as if I was just writing about someone else. Now that I've put more practice into deep breathing (properly) it's a lot easier to relax. I don't practice seated meditation unless I want to, I prefer lying down on the bed or sofa. My thoughts fade away easily and in a sense my mind feels loosened. I don't plan my meditations anymore and no longer use a timer which only makes me focus more on the concept of time. I often intend to meditate for 10 or 15 minutes but I allow myself to meditate for as long as comfortable. With that said I have had days where I just simply could not focus but those are to be expected, especially as a beginner. In the past I did try too hard and put in more effort. I realise now that meditation is something that requires the least amount of effort. In fact, the basic practice of meditation requires you do nothing which is probably the most difficult task anyone can do because just attempting to do nothing you are doing something. I think that's where the whole focus on the breath or other focused attention comes into play. It ever so slowly but surely guides us into a space of nothingness through which everything is endlessly flowing.
My goals for meditation have changed in that I don't meditate just to astral project or reap it's benefits. I realise that it's one of many tools to help exercise the spiritual muscles and a gateway to the dynamic states of consciousness we have access to.
The 30 Day Meditation has served it's purpose, I feel a lot more peaceful than I had before I started and it also helped as a reminder of my original intention to meditate everyday. I like being in that calm state of mind where I have no worries and nothing to hamper about.
Once again it is my intention to meditate everyday with a relaxed approach. I know that with more practice I can only get better at this.

Day 30 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
I practiced 3rd eye meditation really late. I focused between the brows until the energy built up. I almost fell asleep after that but remained conscious when I noticed that my head had shifted to the right by itself and then back. It was a sense of flashing from one position to another and not an actual movement.

Day 29 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Third eye meditation practiced late night. Felt some pressure next to my left temple, the sensation felt like it was travelling down my ear canal. That sharp static sound was present. Meditated for 15 minutes.
Bird's Eye View
I had several false awakenings this morning where I was becoming somewhat lucid. In one FA I was in my garden and suddenly I noticed something on the ground. Not sure what it was. As I focused intently on that particular point I began to float upwards. I began moving upwards rapidly, there was no conscious control on my part. It got to the point where I was looking down at a bird's eye view of my town which was just incredible. I couldn't seem to keep my excitement under control as I continued upwards and soon I was looking down at the round shaped planet Earth.
Unfortunately I can't remember what happened next but this is one of those experiences where I know that something more took place.

Day 27 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated at 12:20pm for 15 minutes. Had a hard time keeping myself still, the mind chattering was not helping either. Worked on deep breathing. I continued to focus on my breathing eventually being aware of my silent mind, feeling quite peaceful and also like I was floating.

Day 26 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Practiced 3rd eye meditation late at night for 10 minutes. Felt sensations of energy swirling in my head, same as usual.

Day 25 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Practiced third eye meditation - didn't bother with deep breathing and working on relaxing. I think the more concentrated my focus is on something the quicker and easier it is to relax.
This past week I've been experiencing a lot of sensations around the solar plexus, sacral and heart chakras.
The solar plexus and sacral chakra feel like pulsating sensations whereas in the heart chakra I can feel fluttering and sinking sensations.

Day 24 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
I practiced the 3rd Eye Meditation at night time for 10 minutes. It seems the more I practice this the more the energy sensations intensify inside my head.

Day 23 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
I meditated at 8:15pm for an unexpected 25 minutes. The first 5 minutes I focused on relaxing by breathing deeply. The muscles in my face, especially around my eyes, felt incredibly tense so I focused on relaxing these tensions. As I relaxed more I felt tingling sensations around my feet.
Eventually I became aware of being in a calm, peaceful state where I had no awareness of my body. I remained in this state for a few minutes before I opened my eyes.

Day 22 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
I practiced concentration meditation by simply focusing on the breath, at 5:10pm for 10 minutes. I rested my head on a bigger/higher pillow during this session.
A few minutes in a calm state I felt forceful upward sensations several times and a few jolts. These sensations were very different from usual and I think they were a result of changing a flat pillow for a higher one. Maybe my spine wasn’t straight enough, of course, I’m just making assumptions. It could really be any number of things.
I have a tendency to end my sessions when I experience these sensations excessively. During these IBMs or odd sensations I become too alert that my awareness is back on my body. However, I do feel calm and relaxed enough to meditate a bit deeper. I don’t plan on increasing the time I spend on meditation, 10-15 minutes is more than plenty, at least for now.
Since my recent astral experience I’ve been hearing a persisting static sound in both ears, mostly in the right, throughout the day. Thankfully, it’s not as loud and sharp. I experienced this before and it was during a time when I was practicing meditation. It might be that my sense of hearing is becoming sharper.

Day 21 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Third Eye meditation practiced at 9:15pm for 15 minutes. This time prior to meditating I made an effort to practice deep breathing until I felt relaxed. The pressures and energy in my head and around my forehead were building up in intensity. I actually wanted to meditate for a bit longer but got interrupted by a knock on the door.

Third Eye meditation practiced once again night time, only this time I practiced it for 5 minutes since I felt far too sleepy to continue.

Day 19 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Third Eye meditation practiced at night time for 10 minutes. I couldn’t quite focus today.
Energy Work
Last night I woke up at 12:30 am finding it difficult to go back to sleep. I read through some of my Abraham-Hicks material and listened to some workshops which were very uplifting. After about an hour I began to feel really good for no particular reason and simply found myself in a state of bliss. I realised getting high on positive emotions wasn't exactly helping me fall asleep, but, I would much rather get high than fall into a slumber.
The positive buzz continued for a while until 3:00am when I felt somewhat ready for sleep. Drifting off, I consciously told myself that I will become more aware of my dreams.
I realised I was in a dream, watching a scene from the TV show Ghost Whisperer. Melinda Gordon, the main character, sat at a table in a quiet restaurant and it seemed at first that she was alone until the ghostly form of a young boy appeared. She lighted in her usual cheery disposition and I knew when the young boy disappeared she had helped him cross over. She moved on to the next table where she stared intently at the chair across from her. There was nothing to be seen except for an empty chair. I wondered what it was. Looking at the expression on her face it seemed she too was oblivious and yet there was a mixture of curiosity, confusion and shock present in her expression.
Being as curious as my DC I zoomed in to the chair. I wonder now, why I never started a conversation with my DC. I need to make a note of at least saying a simple 'hi' next time.
As I focused on the chair I found myself, instantaneously, in my bed, awake and almost completely paralysed. I felt my left arm rise up above my belly with my palm faced down. It was just hanging in the air without my control and each time I tried bringing it back down I felt a very powerful magnetic pull and eventually gave up. Tried getting up which was also difficult. I noticed my arm moving in a circular motion. Suddenly, my right arm lifted up on my side and I had absolutely no control whatsoever. Thinking I was being possessed by a negative force sent me straight into a state of fear. I managed to discard this conclusion, realising it was based on my fearful reaction. It was time for some observations without the clutter of irrational thoughts.
My arm continued to move in the same circular motion for a long time and I managed to remain calm. Eventually, I felt a sensation in my belly, it felt like the movement of energy swirling around. I thought what was occurring was a form of energy work and perhaps it occurs every time in the sleep state without my conscious participation. The idea of energy work just clicked with me.
After this I began having many, very vivid FAs and in between these FAs I would find myself in bed floating out of my body. I noticed that when I floated out, my body would eventually sink and I would find myself in the void. This occurred repetitively.
During one notable FA, I was in the middle of searching for my shoes. I began wearing it only my feet would not go in as if they had grown much larger or my shoes had shrunk. Realising how ridiculous this sounded I got the feeling that I was in a dream state. I looked around; it was too dark for me to see anything clearly. I leaned my hand on something and had a visual of a bed post in my mind. I looked down at where my hand covered a solid part of the same bed. Anything so solid leaves me in doubt, so I began wondering if I was sleep walking and slowly waking up in the process. I have a similar bed in a spare room, so all evidence was pointing towards sleep walk. I have a tendency to make this check because as a young child I did often sleep walk, or so I’ve been told. Once as a teenager, while in a sleep state I grabbed my duvet, got up and started waltzing around with my duvet, much to the amusement of my family members.
Anyways, at some point, some time between the FAs, I was stuck in my bed or perhaps it was my body. I was able to see my room although it was somewhat dark. I noticed a frilly curtain over my blinds which did not belong there. Then my drawer, across the room on the right hand side, vanished and just as quickly, reappeared. This went on for what seemed like an eternity, seeing flashes of my bedroom furniture. Bored, I decided to try and make other things appear. I visualized a palm tree and was able to see faint outlines, only it did not completely manifest. There was really no level of control on my part. Looking back now, I should have asked for assistance.
I patiently waited, hoping that I can explore beyond these altered states of consciousness. I then felt the oncoming of a static sound and braced myself for I knew what was to follow. It started off faint, almost inaudible until it grew in intensity and loudness. Then there was that horrible vibration in my right ear that I dreaded, as if something big was squeezing out due to the sound. I felt quite squeamish and struggled to wake up until eventually, I shot upwards, opened my eyes and woke up at 4:20am.

Day 17 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated at night time for exactly 15 minutes. I used the third eye meditation. Initially I felt energy sensations in my head and eventually, there was an intense pressure between my brows, which I'm quite familiar with since practicing third eye meditations.
15 minutes later I almost jumped out of bed alarmed by an unusual sound. Upon returning to normal waking consciousness I realised it was the sound of me snoring or struggling to breathe.

Brain Massage
At 6:00 am this morning sleep was interrupted by an annoying external sound. I went to the toilet in an incredibly groggy state and by the time I got back to bed I felt more awakened. A short while later the grogginess returned and I found myself becoming conscious of falling asleep. As I entered deeper I remember wishing I could fall asleep like that forever.
I experienced mild buzzing sensations, these were different than the usual. It felt like something zapping my brain and sending waves of electric charges with audible sounds. I remember feeling it mostly on the left side. It was rather pleasant and felt like a nice brain massage.
A screen appeared,I observed it trying my best to focus on the writings. At the time I was able to read it, however now I can't recall much. I do recall that I became somewhat confused and as a result was losing consciousness.
I continued to focus on the screen in a sort of dreamy state until slowly I became completely aware and my consciousness sort of zoomed out of focus and sucked into an active scene. Here a man was arguing and it seemed I was hovering above him. I wonder now if he really was arguing because my recollection of it seems hazy.
I awakened about 40 mins later and was still incredibly groggy and the same brain massage returned. At that point I remembered everything with great clarity. I thought of grabbing my notebook and pen to jot down some quick notes before I forget everything. Unfortunately that did not work out and I fell into a really sleepy state where I had some vivid dreams.

Day 13 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated very late at night. I had a lot on my mind which made it difficult to relax.
Nightmares
I've had violent dreams before but nothing compares to the series of nightmares I had this morning. The first few nightmares were not too scary - however there was blood. It was the last nightmare that made me wake up in a sweat at 5:00 am. I do not want to disclose the contents of this dream but lets just say there was a lot of cutting and a lot of blood. In the dream I experienced a lot of fear and as I woke up it took a while for me to recover.
Funnily enough, last night I asked for assistance from my higher self to help me become aware in my dreams. I don't really know much about higher selves but I'm pretty sure ones higher self does not resort to scare tactics.
I'm not sure where dreams come from altogether - are they a reflection of hidden issues, our inner selves in cryptic form? Or perhaps they are just of our own creation?

Day 12 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Started meditation at night time. After breathing exercise I intended to connect with my higher self/inner being. I spent a few minutes asking for this connection and for some assistance in my spiritual development. I also asked for some lucid dreams and help with becoming more aware in my dreams.
During the meditation there was the usual sensations and movement in my head. I went deep enough to the point where I became conscious of my body slowly going in to sleep mode. Eventually fell asleep and had some incredibly disturbing dreams - next post.

Day 11 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated early morning, although I was still a bit groggy. Entered SP state, while in this state I sensed a presence at one side of my room. From the corner of my eyes I was able to see the shape of a person sitting down. I did not panic, instead I tried to see if I could somehow get out. I moved my fingers and snapped out, wide awake.
Meditated a second time in the evening. During this session within a few minutes my right arm raised up and flopped back down. I think I became aware of my body falling asleep, noticed changes in my breathing which became much slower. Eventually I began gasping for air in fear that I had stopped breathing. I ended the session after 10 minutes and decided to try it again. This time I felt some very pleasant fuzzy sensations in my head. This meditation lasted 20 minutes, I think I could've gone deeper but was interrupted by the phone ringing. When I got up the sensations were present for a few minutes.

Day 10 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Prepared for meditation at 9:30 pm by practicing deep breathing for 5 minutes. With each inhale and exhale I could feel energy building up in my head . There was also some pressure at the top of my head. I focused on my breathing and commenced todays meditation. It was a lot easier to relax today, contrary to yesterdays session.
After 10 minutes I opened my eyes - it seems that I know exactly when my 10 minutes are over. Well, today I felt like meditating twice so I closed my eyes and within a minute I heard a female voice saying 'use'. Startled, I instantly opened my eyes and ended the session.
I think I could've heard a complete sentence had I not been so alarmed. Maybe next time. Overall todays meditation felt like a really refreshing nap.

Day 9 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Something I experienced earlier today was sensations in my heart chakra. They were flutterring sensations- had this a few times before where in the center point of my chest I would feel an unusual movement. I'm not sure that this is relevant to todays meditation report but just thought I'd get this off my chest.
Meditated really late past midnight - I had a lot on my mind so it was harder to keep my mind still and relax.

Day 8 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated at 9:00 am for 10 minutes. I ended the session as I felt really sleepy. I've noticed some changes since starting my meditation challenge, I no longer experience involuntary body movements and involuntary smiles followed by bursts of wonderful emotions. A few months ago IBMs were common in my sessions - they occurred in almost every sessions.
One thing that I've changed deliberately is my meditation timetable. Previously I meditated in the evening around 6-7pm but now I only have time to meditate late at night this is however temporary.
I do feel I'm making progress with this challenge. Overall, I seem to be mostly in a calm state of mind throughout the day.

Day 7 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated at night time for 10 minutes, felt refreshed. There was some external noise but I managed to continue with the meditation. My sensitivity to external noise is somewhat diminishing, maybe with more practice I can probably meditate under any conditions.

Lucid Factory
I figured that I had this lucid dream sometime after the 'Faceless Spirit Guide' experience.
I'm in an elevator with a few other people. I notice a man standing right in front of me and smiling. Then I notice that every other person (about 5 more) are staring at me with a large grin on their face. I realize I'm dreaming, with some excitement I smile back. I begin to speak, and tell each of these dream characters that if this is a dream I will make each of them disappear. I started by obliterating the first person I noticed with a simple desire for him to disappear.
Then I made the rest disappear almost at once. I had an urge to explore the building I was in. I got closer to the elevator doors and noticed a gap somewhere on the side. I thought it would be wise to take a peep through this gap so as to prevent any kind of shocking surprises when I step out of the elevator. What I saw seemed like a factory with a few people inside. End of recall.

The Faceless Spirit Guide
After the meditation session fell asleep but with the possibility of astral projecting I affirmed that I will meet my spirit guide.
Eventually became aware of vibrations which was a lot more subtle than usual. Felt a buzzing sensation in my head. My vision was blurry at first but then I was able to make out a section of my bedroom and noticed I was sleeping on my side. I closed my eyes and in that instant a male figure with no facial features appeared before me. I took my time in trying to observe rather than freak out. The figure looked human with black wavy short hair except for the face which I think may have been distorted by my blurry vision and appeared to have no features.
My observations revealed that I was being observed, not by just one being. It seemed more of these beings filled up the space of wherever I was. They were sort of huddling behind the first figure I saw. I can't say what happened next since my recall ends there.
I've heard that when you meet your spirit guide you just know, without a shadow of doubt it's your spirit guide, the same goes for higher self. I'm not concluding that I met my spirit guide because honestly I don't know.

Day 6 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
This morning I was listening to hemi-sync 'sleep exploration' and within 10 minutes I was drifting off so decided to meditate instead. I had an unusual experience during this mornings meditation. Within 10 minutes or so I heard a clicking sound in my head which made me open my eyes and end the session. After this session I decided to sleep again and had a very interesting astral experience followed by a lucid dream.

Day 4 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated, once again at night time. When practicing deep breathing felt incredibly light headed. Decided to make this an active meditation by focusing on my chakras and balancing them. I did feel sensations in each chakra but they were very subtle.

Day 3 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated night time for 10 minutes. I was already relaxed so that helped. Less energy sensations, however, I felt my facial muscles twitch excessively especially around my eyes.

Day 2 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
Meditated night time before falling asleep.
The experience was similar to day 1. I practiced late so towards the end I did feel really sleepy.

Day 1 of 30 Day Meditation Challenge
I began last nights meditation session with the deep breathing technique. Half way through the session which lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, I felt an intense amount of energy in my head.

The 30 Day Meditation Challenge
The last two months has been the most hectic period of my life - I won't bore anyone with the details, in fact it's far too long to even begin with. Certain situations have escalated to the point where I am forced to take a clearer, broader look at myself.
It's time for some introspection and what better way to do this than to meditate (more often). In August I've neglected meditating to the point where I haven't been meditating at all. I had plenty of opportunities to meditate however I've managed quite unconsciously to allow excuses. I think it's mostly to do with lack of motivation which is simply my reaction from certain issues I'm experiencing.
It's the 1st of the month and I've decided to use this as my excuse to begin a 30 Day Meditation Challenge. So as of today, everyday for 30 days in consecutive order I will appoint 15 minutes for my meditation practice.
I'm not sure what my purpose is for this challenge although I believe the underlying goal is to attain peace for which I am in much need of. I do not have any expectations from taking up this challenge other than I can only benefit from this.

Tricking The Body To Fall Asleep
I recall once in my early days of meditation I struggled a lot trying to keep my body still, due to itches I would often give up.
So one night before falling asleep, I decided to remain absolutely still and not give in to any urges to itch or shift my sleeping position and focus on my breathing. I used this thinking it would help me get deeper into my meditation. It did and took an agonising 45 minutes. I was unable to percieve my body - I felt like a tiny dot in this vast universe.
I've since not practiced this due to the effort required. After some quick research online I've found out it's a technique used to trick your body to fall asleep while you keep your mind awake.
Here's a link to a forum post I found at dreamviews that discusses this technique further: How to trick your body to fall asleep while keeping your mind awake.
I will attempt this soon at night time before going to sleep.

A Very Short LD and SP
This morning I woke at about 6:00 am and went back to sleep 20 mins later. I had several vivid dreams. In one dream I was repeatedly walking down a spiralling staircase. I'm not sure where I was. There were many other people who seemed to be in a hurry. I looked 2 floors down and noticed that someone was hurt.
I stormed down but the injured person was nowhere to be seen. I walk on into a hallway where a woman is walking on my right side. Ahead of us was a glass screen where the light revealed a reflection of the woman beside me. At first I was wondering whether I was a vampire or a ghost. Eventually failure to see my own reflection made me instantly realize I'm in a dream.
I began taking a better look at the woman and noticed more people in this hallway, suddenly the scene began to fade away and all was dark. I thought I had closed my eyes. With some strength, I opened them only to find that I was in SP, but I couldn't be too sure that I was in my bedroom. Struggling to see clearly I opened my eyes completely and woke up.

An Attempt to Meet My Spirit Guide
I woke up at 4:30 am listened to Develop A Powerful Memory but stopped half way through because of a knocking sound coming from somewhere downstairs. I went back to listening to the hypnosis and continued hearing banging and tapping sounds. Did a check to make sure my windows and front door were locked.
I decided to listen to hemi-sync 'sleep exploration'. After taking such a long break from hemi-sync it's odd that listening to this track I instantly felt energy swarming inside my head. The affirmation I used was to meet my spirit guide. I was conscious throughout the entire track - no 'clicking out' however I was still able to hear the same knocking, tapping and banging sounds coming from inside the house. Maybe it was just the neighbours and I was just being paranoid.
I fell asleep having the knowing that I was going to astral project eventually finding myself in the SP state. Then I had an odd sensation which I concluded had something to do with my root chakra. Speaking of chakras, lately I've been having sensations in my solar plexus, heart chakra and third eye chakra. I was lying down on my front and was able to see mostly my bed sheet, from one side of my bed I felt a presence beside me. I know I intended to meet my spirit guide but the last thing on my mind at that time was making that connection - I couldn't help but formulate irrational thoughts.
I closed my eyes and begged for the being to go away, that I was not ready. Nothing changed, same SP state and feeling of a presence. I had two options, fight my way out of SP or open my eyes and face the unkown. With some bravery I chose the latter - opened my eyes and faced whatever was there to face. Felt mild vibrations and the root chakra sensation increased in intensity. Soon they both subsided and I woke up.

Auto Meditating
This month I haven't been meditating regularly due to the noise level at home. However when I simply lie down and just relax without the intention of meditating I find myself in a meditative state.
Usually now when I prepare to go to sleep and close my eyes almost instantly images begin to pop up. It's a bit like astral phasing, but it occurs when I'm fully physically awake.
Recently I had several images gliding across like a slideshow. One picture was of a beautiful beach that had a serene atmosphere, I became drawn to the peaceful nature of this image. Had a desire to just drift away in this scene and with that the picture paused instead of moving onto the next and seemed to come to life. Shortly afterwards I fell asleep. This was the only one of these experiences that lasted for several minutes.

A Zillion False Awakenings
Somebody definitely woke up on the right side of the bed early this morning. Listened to Develop A Powerful Memory for 30 minutes followed by thinking happy thoughts and feeling great. I had the knowing that I will have an astral projection so I followed my breathing and soon enough felt myself floating. I was spinning anticlockwise and knew I was heading for the window.
My room was dark and on the wall I noticed a calender which I don't have in reality. Tried to check the year but my body/form having a mind of its own went out the window at which point I woke up and got out of bed. I walked downstairs to the living room where I found my nieces and nephews playing and my sister-in-law on the sofa staring at the TV.
I slouched on the sofa feeling somewhat groggy and noticed something strange about my environment. It was night time. I told my sis-in-law that this seems like a dream, she responded with a bemused look. I walked up to her and placed my hand on her shoulder which went through her. I walked to the hallway and noticed someone in the kitchen, looked like an elderly man. When I got in there the kitchen was empty. I headed for the garden when suddenly the lights began to dim. I shouted out for some light and clarity. Suddenly opened my eyes and woke up.
I heard the faint sound of an instrument playing in my ears. The sounds were sort of buzzing in my head. Two voices, male and female, chimed in and sang a song in hindi. The song was beautiful I just wish I could remember the words. I checked my arms and moved a little but didn't get up in case the tune stopped. My room was also in its right order. This is the first time something like this happened in my waking state. I continued to relax and just listen to the song making some effort to memorise it. I went back to sleep and had about a zillion false awakenings.
For The Zillionth Time
Eventually in this false awakening I meet a man and tell him how I've been having around a zillion false awakenings. He approaches two women sitting down and tells them about my zillion false awakenings. The two women are confused and begin to have a discussion about what a 'zillion' means. The man suddenly takes me by suprise when he grabs my arm and pulls me in front of a large computer screen. He brings up some images on the screen and shows me a device that looks like a camcorder. With a lot of excitement he begins to explain how it's state of the art, advanced technology. I tell him I have a camcorder like that at home, here I get conscious and end up in the SP state. Continued having more FAs.
Good Mood = Altered State of Consciousness
This was the last FA I had - Got out of bed and grabbed a pink book. It's an astral projection journal (does not exist in reality). I'm skimming through the book and realise that I never really record my moods prior to astral projection attempts. I recalled how good I felt earlier this morning and decided that my good mood was key to my astral projections in fact there were many other times I'd be in such an incredibly good mood prior to projecting. I kept wondering why I never thought of this before and made a note of doing it more often. Then I woke up.
I'm pretty sure I really am awake now that is unless these words begin to scramble.

Dream Themes
Some mornings ago during one of my dream I became lucid, however the dream just disappeared immediately, for a few seconds I was in the dark and eventually lost consciousness.
I've now recognised one recurring theme in my dreams - they involve people from my past who I no longer have any contact with. Another theme I've noticed is guns and shooting but I think I have these violent dreams because I watch action oriented movies. Recently I watched The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and on that night I dreamed I was being pursued by a gang of monstrous looking girls with machine guns.
I'm currently using Reality Checks to help induce lucid dreams.

Dream Exploration
I'm having longer dreams with more details than usual since listening to Glenn Harrold's Develop A Powerful Memory. I had a very disturbing dream this morning and it was so long that for once my dream had a plot. Usually they appear so randomly and in fragments. Also had several false awakenings this morning.
I'm also keeping a dream journal once again after quite a long time. Perhaps my focus and desire to have lucid dreams itself is increasing my dream recall.
I'm reading Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge and I suspect I will find similar aspects to astral projections.

Improved Dream Recall
Last night after much difficulty trying to fall asleep I listened to Develop A Powerful Memory by Glenn Harrold. I listened to it with the intention of recalling more dreams. Listening time was 16 minutes and I ended the session due to feeling sleepy.
Upon waking up this morning I've managed to recall 8 dreams with much more clarity than usual.

Enhanced Spontaneous Visualizations
I'm experiencing more spontaneous visualizations before going to bed. It occurs as soon as I close my eyes. Images begin to take shape - it looks like somebody is drawing and I'm just simply observing. The other night a shape was forming, I could see lines and curves joining and there was an outer glow of a light blue shade which was getting brighter.
It lasts for a few minutes because eventually I have to break out of it coz I need to clean my bladder or I just simply fall asleep. This is interesting because when it does occur I'm fully awake and know that it will take some time before I actually fall asleep. Unfortunately I never really get to see any of the shapes completed.
I think these visuals could be the result of practicing the 5th meditation (focusing between the brows) from the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

Meditating In Challenging Situations
I meditated twice today and to my surprise I managed to relax into it successfully - whilst in the background kids were making so much noise and crying and the weather was hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement.
My first session was interesting. I was getting deeply relaxed and entering an altered state of consciousness when suddenly my head which was leaning slightly to my right moved involuntarily with a jolt to the center, aligning with my body. At this point my awareness was on my neck area and then for a brief moment I just remained still trying to deepen the meditation. I decided to get up and ended the session - 10 minutes had passed by.
In my second session I experienced the usual hand movements but I focused less on the movement and focused almost exlusively on my breathing. I felt an expanding sensation in my head as if an insane amount of oxygen was being pumped in - soon I was feeling like I was just my head. As I felt like I was on the verge of falling asleep I snapped out of it.
In nearly all of my meditations I experience some kind of involuntary body movement. I wonder what these movements mean. I have read somewhere that it has to do with energy and some even say it has to do with some kind of blockage.
Of course when I first started meditation I didn't always experience IBMs so I'm leaning more towards maybe it has to do with progress. The experience of it is actually quite exciting but I would like to get past it and move deeper in my meditations.

Sunrise
Yesterday I was feeling very emotionally distressed mostly because I was clamoring over a situation that seems ridiculous right now.
I decided to distract myself. I was lying down listening to music when suddenly I found myself in a state of meditation. No thoughts or sounds were heard and my hands were moving involuntarily together in a clapping motion. A smile formed on my face again involuntarily and as I returned to normal waking consciousness I felt really good. I released a lot of resistance within 10 minutes.
I've also noticed lately since practicing meditation more often and combining that with hemi-sync I have been experiencing spasms in muscles around different parts of my body. Also my eyelids have been twitching - although fortunately now that is slowly diminishing. This happens when I'm awake and not in meditation.
Anyways, last night for the second time listening to music before falling asleep I again went into a state of meditation and felt a squeeze of clogged up energy in my head - couldn't handle it so I turned off the music and decided to fall asleep. Closed my eyes and it was dark as usual until slowly a light was shining over this darkness. It seemed like the sun was rising - getting brighter and brighter. I opened my eyes to double check and closed them again, immediately it was getting bright. I must have fell asleep after that since I can't recall what happened next.

Hemi-Sync Vs. Simple Meditation
Listening to Hemi-Sync has been quite a challenge in the last two days. Im still feeling the same sensations (pressure on the head, tingling around arms and legs). Now my body seems to heat up really fast but that I know is due to the weather. I can't seem to finish the excerises and have an urge to give up. The only improvement I have made so far is that I haven't been 'clicking out'.
I'm gonna try my best to listen to it when I feel comfortable. Maybe the reason I'm being put off now is because I need to move on to the next exercise. However, I haven't yet accomplished my goal of reaching 'focus 10' consciously which I think is mostly due to the fact that I've been practicing only twice a week.
I'm having better luck with meditation - it feels so much easier. There's less resistance and I'm able to relax quicker than I do with hemi-sync. So for now I vote for my simple meditations which also includes the third eye meditation.
I will still be practicing hemi-sync in the mornings whenever I feel comfortable.

Abraham-Hicks On Out of Body Experiences
"Question: I had a very lucid dream once where I was in a forest... and it felt like this moment now, just as real. And somehow I felt that I would go deeper into the dream and forget that this current experience ever existed. And I was afraid of that movement, and so I woke myself back up. But when I awoke, it made me contemplate what this right now is and if perhaps I could be really dreaming this and have forgotten that this is a dream.
Abe: Well, from our perspective you are dreaming this. In other words, the reality that is really real is the broader, nonphysical part of you. Everything is perceptual -- in other words, the only reason that this reality looks and feels and smells and tastes and sounds so real is because you have vibrational interpreters that interpret the energy. So in your dream state, at another level of consciousness, you are interpreting the energy and having a different experience.
We don't want you to ever worry about the realness of that which is here, but we don't want the realness of that which is here to limit you and make you think that that's all that is real. In other words, in this world that you call physical, that is occupied by a few billion human ones, [are] as many worlds as are perceivers of it. In other words, what is real is as you perceive it to be.
A dream is your re-emergence into nonphysical, achieving vibrational alignment with who you are then, and then as you come back into your [waking] state, the entire dream actually takes place as that which you know from nonphysical is translated back into a physical equivalent that you can make sense of. Dreams don't happen all night long -- we don't care what their meters are telling you. The dream is downloaded almost instantaneously as you are coming back into conscious awareness.
An out-of-body experience varies from a dream in this way: when you find vibrational alignment with who you really are, you can catch a glimpse of whatever your Inner Being is glimpsing at. So sometimes an out-of-body experience will show you another world, sometimes it will show you this world -- but what an out-of-body experience is, is you perceiving through the uncluttered eyes of who you really are. And we would say that this dream that you are describing was more of an out-of-body experience than it was a dream. But [it's] hard to tell the difference because from your human perspective it was different from this reality.
You are right, you are so much more than the one who is focused here in this physical body. But you came here with great and powerful intent to be here, and there is no place you would rather be -- that is our promise to you. And so while sometimes you do take escape in other thoughts, in other realms, in other dimensions, you are fulfilling your reason for being here, and this is where the whole of you wants to be focused.
Good."
Abraham-Hicks, Washington, DC, 5/1/04
"Make a decision to have an out-of-body experience where your Inner Being gives you a glimpse of your Vibrational Escrow. We think it would be good for all of you. We think it would be really good for you to get a glimpse of your Vibrational Escrow because when you get a glimpse of it, before you can see it, you have to feel worthy of it. In other words, you can't see it until you feel worthy of it even in your dreamscapes.
Make that an intention. Start writing this down -- `Inner Being, in my dream state, in my out-of-body excursions, I want a glimpse of my Vibrational Escrow' which means I want to work my way into a place of such worthiness that I have full view of it. And as you let that be a vibrational challenge or goal, and as you begin to accomplish it more and more in your dreamscape, then you'll begin to see it filling-in in your life experience."

Good."

Guided to Outer space
This morning I had a rather interesting experience. I was in focus 10 and could sense that I was about to have an astral projection. Suddenly a voice emerged and I began to listen and surprisingly this time the voice was crystal clear and audible. The voice sounded exactly like my voice only I was not actually speaking or thinking the words in my head.
Within only a matter of seconds I realized that I was being offered some kind of guidance. In fact the words being offered sounded like something out of a Hypnosis script. It started with 'Listen to the sound of my voice' and continued in a relaxing rhythm. Suddenly my head began to vibrate in a really annoying way that I couldn't help but shift my attention away from the voice. In that moment the voice came back even more audible, 'No, you do not want to focus on that now. Simply follow my voice.' And so I did. The vibrations slowed down almost to a complete stop. I had the sense that I was still in my bedroom and felt a presence in the corner of my room. Then I think the voice called out my name or a name that was familiar to me. I tried to get up but my body was stuck and I knew I was in the sleep paralysis state. After much struggle I snapped out of it and opened my eyes.
I expected to see my bedroom because I thought I really had woken up only I was in some kind of spacecraft. I assumed I was in a spacecraft because in front of me was a large glass screen looking out into what I can only describe as space. I noticed outside in front of the screen there was some kind of robotic looking object which was glowing a golden light.
Can't recall anything after that except for very vivid fragments of some dreams.

Hypnosis
I have been listening to various hypnosis programs by Paul McKenna and so far having good results with them. At first my body would suddenly jolt and my arms kept moving. Now I easily get into a deep trance state and when I return to normal consciousness I do remember becoming aware at certain points. I also had the experience of 'clicking out' a few times.
The hypnosis programs I've been listening to use the Hemi-Sync process so it's no surprise at all that I'm having similar side-effects such as a pressure on my head and sensations between my brows and electric sensations around my body. I do however think these sensations are more to do with relaxing deeper since I've had the same sensations in meditation. The difference between hypnosis and meditation is that hypnosis feeds your unconscious mind with positive suggestions (mostly for specific areas of your life or to change certain habits) once you are in that trance state. Meditation is more like getting to your unconscious mind and allowing it to be super conscious.
What I find really fascinating is hypnotizing others. I've been watching clips on youtube of hypnotist Tom Silver, Paul McKenna, Peter Powers and other expert hypnotists performing what seems like magic on others. I have to say I am totally mesmerised.

Hemi-Sync: When I wake up in the morning, I'm Clicking Out
Since listening to Hemi-Sync 'Advanced Focus 10' in the mornings I've been clicking out in every session. I think this is because during those times I still feel groggy and have a tendency to lose my awareness in the middle of the exercise.
So how to resolve this? Well, I read the Hemi-Sync Process FAQs and one suggestion made was to practice the exercise sitting if you normally practice lying down. I'll give that a try.

Hemi-Sync: A Channeling Experience
The experience I had this morning was just absolutely amazing. This week I listened to Hemi-Sync 'Advanced Focus 10' twice. In today's session halfway through my hand began doing that involuntary thing it does. This time however my index and middle finger were joining my thumb forming a circle. The tips of my fingers were pressing down on my upper abdomen (the same location as the solar plexus chakra). I remember thinking 'Whoa' for a brief moment and continued with the process without giving it a second thought. I 'clicked out' from the moment Monroe counted up to 10 to the moment he counted back down to 1 where I returned to normal consciousness.
I wanted to astral project so I kept repeating 'I will astral project' until I fell asleep. I had an infinite number of dreams. I'm just gonna relay the dreams that seem relevant and sort of leads to the experience of channeling.
Dream #1
I'm in an elevator, a black person wearing a hood rushes in before the doors close. I have the urge to look at this person closely, so I turn my head to the left side and this person is gazing straight into my eyes. I can't tell whether this person is male or female though I can see her/him clearly. This person has a completely blank expression yet something mystifying and mesmerising. There is something familiar about this person and suddenly something clicks. I say 'Spirit Guide' in the form of acknowledgement and he/she smiles back. Is this really my spirit guide? Maybe.
Dream #2
I'm sitting with a woman who seems to be a very good friend of mine. Suddenly a little girl appears before me. She tells me about her older sister who died at the age of 10 or 11 and that at the time she was still a baby. She remembers her sister very well. I ask her how old she is now and she responds that she is 3 years old. She doesn't seem sad. I realize that for her age she is far too understanding. I begin to feel sympathy for her even though she's not sad. I look at my friend and tell her that I'm ready. We go upstairs into a room where there is a chair. I sit on this comfy looking chair and begin to relax as she sits across from me and sets a tape recorder.
The Channeling Experience
I've entered a deep trance state and I hear a soft gentle female voice beginning to speak. Soon the voice becomes faint and I find myself on a completely different plane of existence. At this point I'm fully conscious of my personality (the person I am in this reality). I begin to explore. There are large pillars which I could only describe as futuristic. I stare at these pillars for a while in awe of it's beauty. In this place there are no grounds, no walls, no kind of boundaries. I begin to phase in and out of this plane into the place where the channeling was occurring. I heard the words that were being spoken in the channeling session and that soft gentle voice mentioned something about 'reacting to reasons rather than seasons'. At the time there was so much information being processed and I felt the power and wisdom in them but now don't have much recall of.
Somehow I managed to get through to the Entity that was being channeled and I asked a question of my own. 'What is the purpose of Allah and all these other so called Gods and Religions?' The reply came after a long pause. Apparently the purpose of Religion is Guidance. I do feel for some unknown reason that this answer came more from me than the actual Entity. I phased back into the Pillar Plane. There were more colours and lights. Suddenly I became worried about my bodies. First I was worried about the body that was channeling for my friend. Then I had the fear that I might not be able to ever get back into my actual physical body. I realized my fear was unnecessary and pumped myself with some positive thoughts. I asked for assistance and found myself going through a layer of some kind of transparent energy. As I went through it my beingness was fizzing in a sense. It actually felt quite nice and electrifying.
When I woke up I completely forgot the experience until a few seconds later the memory of it became more intense than the actual experience.
So was this really channeling? I'm not absolutely certain but when I think about it the whole incident felt incredibly real. Maybe I connected with another personality in another dimension and through that personality I was able to experience what channeling feels like. Maybe I'm always doing this kind of thing but only now becoming aware of it. For the moment there's quite a lot of maybes.

Re-entering Dreams
This morning I woke up interrupted by some external noise. The dream I had kept replaying in my mind. In this dream I'm having issues with a housing situation - I was basically on the verge of being made homeless. The challenge I was facing was so undeniably real that even after waking up I was formulating possible solutions, still knowing it was all just a dream. I still felt groggy and decided I want to re-enter the same dream. I did exactly that and found a solution - it was like the 'me' character in the dream went from being worried and stressed to suddenly having personal power and self-assurance. I was not fully conscious that I was dreaming, it was like any ordinary dream.
I'm not very good at deciphering dreams but this one does not reflect anything in 'real life', maybe symbolically it means something. I've always wanted to re-enter dreams but never really succeeded until this morning. I guess what triggered this incident was desire and powerful intent.

Meditation and Floating
In my recent meditations (mostly meditating on the third eye chakra) I have been feeling energy building up at the top of my head - feels like it's pressing hard downwards. Felt this same sensation listening to hemi-sync before. Could be my crown chakra activating.
In one meditation session I stated my intention 'I, Jasmine, draw to me through divine love those beings who seek enlightenment through my process, the sharing will elevate us both now'. Once I reached a light trance state my index finger on my right hand moved involuntarily and was moving in a stroking motion as if drawing a line over and over again. My other fingers also began to move around involuntarily. I did not focus on it for too long and went back to being aware of my breath which was now light. I ended the meditation thinking quite some time had passed by, checked the time, I'd been meditating for less than 10 minutes.
I have been feeling floating sensations lately during meditation. I think I'm on my way to having astral projections directly from meditation.

Good Morning, Hemi-Sync!
I listened to Hemi-Sync 'Advanced Focus 10' only once this week for 15 minutes. Listening time was brief because at the time I was incredibly sleepy. I think it's pointless listening to hemi-sync so late at night since during those hours I do have a natural tendency to fall asleep.
I will only listen to Hemi-Sync and practice the techniques early in the morning.

Vigyan Bhairav Tantra
I have been searching for some meditation techniques and found the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, 5000 year old ancient Indian text on meditation. This book discusses 112 meditation techniques which can be used for realizing our true self.
Had a quick read through the first few meditation techniques, I seem to be drawn to technique number 5, mostly because it's easy for me to focus my attention between my eyebrows.

Meditation - High Priority
Meditated twice this week, the first time my mind was endlessly chattering and I could barely relax. The second time it was easier to relax and my mind naturally slowed down, only it took me 30 minutes to get to that state which is a big leap from 5 minutes.
This is obviously due to my lack of practicing. My main priority now is to meditate and find different techniques of meditation.

The Sensation Of No Body
Today I woke up at 7:00am from a very violent dream.
After 15 minutes went back to sleep and found myself in a state of sleep paralysis. My eyes were open and my vision was clouded by a blob of violet spreading like ink. I had trouble breathing and felt like I might be suffocating.
I felt some sensation around my face and it felt like I had a face mask on. Removed the mask and breathing returned to normal. I lifted my arms to look at them only there was nothing there but just the sensation of them being there. The same goes for the rest of my body. I sat up, lifted my legs and tried to take a good look at myself. When I moved my legs and arms there was just the sensation of motion but nothing visually there.
I can't recall much about my surroundings.

I Dream of Projecting
Woke up around 7:00 am and after 30 minutes of listening to some relaxing music I fell asleep. I was dreaming of viewing a property to buy and suddenly became somewhat aware that I was in a dream. The walls were a bright peach colour. I touched the walls which felt very solid. Soon I was in front of some patio doors that looked a bit rusty. I was becoming even more aware and alert enough to practice some out of the ordinary skills. I imagined a red strip to appear on the window and it did. I continued experimenting different colours all of which appeared successfully. I focused outside of the window and my vision zoomed in and out for a while. I decided to walk through the door and unfortunately that's where I lost consciousness for some time.
Eventually found myself in bed paralysed and tried to get out of my body. Struggled to get out so I decided to just snap out of the sleep paralysis and move my physical body. I don't wake up instead I continue to dream unconsciously, but they are dreams that I can recall. Upon waking up I realized that the very near astral projection was me dreaming about nearly astral projecting.
I'm still not sure about Lucid Dreams and I don't have much experience with them. Some people believe that Astral Projections or OBEs are advanced Lucid Dreams and others believe that the two are very different. What about ordinary dreams where we have no conscious awareness? They are just like astral projections only we're not as conscious in them. I think they're all pretty much the same thing with different labels and hopefully with more experience I can expand on my understanding.
